Although an away league fixture a short journey over to Bicester Sports Association the home ground for Bicester Town Colts. Newly promoted Bicester to the Premier Division sat just above Halse in the table before kick off.
Sean and Frankie took a 14 man squad over with the objective to get first league win this season. The lads are really finding the rhythm now as they get more game time under the leadership.
The pitch surface was in really good order which will always help Halse as they like to keep the ball down on the surface.
Just 3 minutes in and the first goal arrives for Halse from a goal kick from Matthews playing out from the back, centre half Hamblin hits a lovely over the top ball to Read who rounds the keeper and slots it into the back of the net.
Bicester 0-1 Halse
Halse are seeing a lot of the ball with Bicester allowing the black and white to play out from the back then on 19 minutes its goal number two for the black and white which is almost identical to the first. From a goal kick to centre half Brady who pings the ball long to find full back Salvatore who gets in behind the defenders and drives into the Bicester box and shoots across goal to find bottom left.
Bicester 0-2 Halse
On 30 minutes Bicester reduce the goal difference with a mix up on communication at the back with Bradys flick narrowly out the reach of Hamblin, then the Bicester number 9 latches onto the ball and clips his shot which just beats Matthews and ends up in the Halse net.
Bicester 1-2 Halse
Halse are now putting on some high pressure as the first half is in final 8 minutes. Mortimer picks up the ball on the edge of the Bicester box and lays it off to skipper Simpson who cuts inside and beautifully curls it into the bottom right of the Bicester net.

A really solid first half for Halse.

Halse make it four on 51 minutes with a lovely flick from Gilsenan sends the midfielder through on goal Kinner who first time thumps it top right into the net.
Bicester 1-4 Halse
There is a long stoppage in play on 57 minutes when full back Salvatore clips the Bicester goal keeper in the face who has to receive treatment. Thankfully the Bicester keeper was able to carry on.
First substitution for Halse on 60 minutes with young forward Williams comes on and Summers makes way.
Then Halse hit 5 again on 66 minutes when a Gilsenan free kick is whipped in from the right hand corner. Full back Salvatore steeps down low and loops a header in at the far post with some help off the post.
Next substitution for Halse with Hablin off and Purnell on in midfield.
Third and final substitution Gilsenan makes way for the return of Ramsay.
